1. Acceptance of Contributions

Acceptance of any contribution, gift, or grant is at the sole discretion of Dimaro Healthcare Foundation. We reserve the right to decline any donation that cannot be used or expended in a manner consistent with our mission and purpose.

2. Donor’s Financial Security

We will not accept any irrevocable gift—whether outright or life-income in nature—if, under any reasonable circumstances, such a donation could jeopardize the financial security of the donor.

3. Non-Refundable Donations

All donations made to Dimaro Healthcare Foundation are considered final and non-refundable. Refunds will only be issued in cases of proven transactional errors, such as accidental overpayment beyond the intended donation amount.

4. Tax & Legal Guidance

Dimaro Healthcare Foundation does not provide legal, financial, or tax advice. Donors are strongly encouraged to consult with their own professional advisors regarding the tax or financial implications of their contributions.

5. Acceptable Forms of Donations

Accepted: Cash donations and publicly traded securities.

Conditional Acceptance: In-kind services, real property, personal property, non-liquid securities, or contributions with restrictions will be reviewed before acceptance, to assess any potential obligations or liabilities.

6. Acknowledgment of Donations

Dimaro Healthcare Foundation will provide acknowledgments to donors as required by law for all contributions. However, except for gifts of cash and publicly traded securities, no monetary value will be assigned to in-kind donations in any official acknowledgment.

7. Donor Intent & Anonymity

We are committed to honoring donor intent regarding gifts for restricted purposes and respecting requests for anonymity. In the case of anonymous donations, information about the donor will be restricted to essential staff only, on a strict need-to-know basis.

8. Third-Party Compensation

Dimaro Healthcare Foundation does not offer commissions, finder’s fees, or any form of compensation to third parties for directing a donor or contribution to the organization.
